I grew up on a farm near Koster, a small town in the North West Province of South Africa. After finishing school in Koster, I studied graphic design before traveling and working in the United Kingdom for two years. I returned to South Africa at the start of 2005 to study architecture in the administrative capital Pretoria. This is where I met my wife, got married and built the foundations of our future together. We both graduated in architecture and share the same spirit to travel with a hunger for new adventure. 

 

While studying and working at an architecture firm, I pursued my passion for architecture photography in 2007 and never stopped since. The architectural experience I gained helped me realize the amount of effort and detail that goes into a project to get it build. With this experience and my passion for photography I aim to provide my clients with a complete set of images capturing the concept, spirit and detail of each project. 

 

For the past five years I worked as a senior architectural technologist at a large architecture firm in Windhoek, Namibia. This provided me the opportunity to capture inspiring architectural projects, unspoiled nature and vast landscapes of this beautiful country.

 

We recently relocated to Gent, Belgium. An exciting journey, enabling me to expand my architecture photography and graphic design portfolio in Europe and beyond.

 

Together with my wife and two curious boston terriers we enjoy finding ourselves in historical towns and cities across Europe, capturing the history as it unfolds in the character of the magnificent architecture. Providing a glimpse into the lives of those who walked the same streets before us.
